Turmerry natural and organic latex mattresses are made from the best rubber tree plantation in the world, eco-friendly and sustainable. Additionally, they're made using fair trade practices and are cruelty-free, so you can rest assured knowing that you're supporting a company that cares about its impact on the environment and on the people involved in its production. We plant a tree for every purchase of yours.
But luxury comfort and healthy sleep aren't the only things our organic and natural mattresses offer. With a Turmerry mattress, you'll enjoy:
Comfortable, conforming support that relieves pressure points
Improved circulation for a deeper, more restful sleep
A cooler sleeping surface thanks to our breathable latex design
Enhanced durability for lasting comfort night after night
You can choose an 8-inch, 10-inch, or 12-inch mattress. Both the 8-inch and 10-inch consist of three organic latex foam layers with 5-Zone Support. The 12-inch mattress comes with a fourth latex foam layer, which adds 2 inches of extra cushioning. We use the same organic cotton with natural wool cover which is approximately 10 inch height for these three different mattresses. For the 8 inch mattress, the cover will have room for few more inches which can be added later with a foam layer of your choice.
Each of the latex layers is made with Dunlop Latex which gives the best support to your spine and
back. A specially engineered perforated mattress design with
provides excellent air circulation, making your organic latex bed a breathable and comforting
surface. Not only that, it keeps the latex bed naturally cool, so you fall asleep easier and
faster.
Next, for mattress stability and support, we have a thick layer of New Zealand wool on top that doubles up as a fire retardant. This makes sure you and your family sleep in a safe and secure manner.
Finally, we have enclosed all of the above with another layer of organic cotton cover that ensures unrestricted airflow and a night of cool and relaxed sleep. Latex and cover are not washable and can only be spot cleaned.
The three latex layers in our mattress come with three different firmness levels- soft, medium, and firm. Whether you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, or stomach sleeper, just rotate the layers to get the desired level of mattress firmness for your perfect sleep. You can request a different combination of layers at Checkout, for example: two medium layers and one firm layer.
Our natural latex mattress has a ‘buoyant’ effect that prevents sinking and aligns your spine, helping to relieve common pressure points much better than comparable products.
For a soft mattress, arrange the firm topper on the bottom, medium in the middle and soft on the top.
For a medium firmness mattress, arrange the firm topper on the bottom, soft in the middle and medium on the top.
For a firm mattress, arrange the medium topper on the bottom, soft in the middle and firm on the top.
At Turmerry, we understand that everyone has different needs when it comes to finding the perfect mattress. That's why we offer three different latex thickness levels to choose from. Whether you need a little extra support or you want to sink into a cloud of comfort, we have the perfect mattress for you.
Our 8-inch mattress is the answer for the budget conscious and the 12-inch mattress for the luxury lover. And we still have our popular 10-inch mattress if you are looking for a happy medium.
Turmerry 8-inch mattress comes with a 3-inch base layer, 2-inch middle layer, and 2-inch top layer, all of which are 5-zone organic latex foam layers. The Organic Cotton Zipper Cover with Wool adds another inch.
Turmerry 10-inch mattress comes with a 3-inch base layer, 3-inch middle layer, and 3-inch top layer, all of which are 5-zone organic latex foam layers. The Organic Cotton Zipper Cover with Wool adds another inch.
Turmerry 12-inch mattress comes with a 3-inch base layer, 3-inch middle layer, and 3-inch top layer of organic latex foams with 5-zone support. What makes this special is that there is a 4th layer made of a 2-inch organic latex foam layer.
The addition of this extra layer promotes enhanced plushness to the sleeper. The organic cotton zipper cover with wool adds another inch.
We’ve got the perfect mattress sizes for any space.
If you are buying a Queen or a King, you can choose Split Queen or Split King, which will give you the Top and Middle layers Split in Half so couples can choose their own firmness.
NOTE: Our Split King and Split Queen mattress sizes feature a single mattress with a split center. For a traditional Split King setup with two separate mattresses, we recommend two Twin XL mattresses be used closely together. Unfortunately, we do not offer any mattress sizes to make a traditional Split Queen setup possible.
Natural latex is a great choice in terms of having firmer, more "bouncy" mattress support. Latex beds are springy, cool, and come with a buoyant feeling, thus naturally supporting your posture. Whereas memory foam mattresses practically ‘sink’ your body into itself, and may give you aches and pains later on as they may not support you well.
Need some level of ‘softness’ but want to sleep on a ‘firm’ mattress? Natural latex mattresses solve this exact problem. It’s somewhat soft like foam-based mattresses, but since it has a natural buoyant feeling, it feels just the right amount of firmness. Keep in mind that these latex mattresses are not so soft that one wakes up with a backache like with other types of mattresses.
Not to mention, organic mattresses made from natural latex tend to have much longer lifespans, typically in the range of 20 years and more.Plus, our perforated design doesn’t trap heat as those foam-based mattresses do. Latex naturally sleeps cooler, and the pinhole ventilated mattress design allows for air to pass through. Even the latex cell structure is open and helps the airflow. Thus, the latex mattress is the one that stays cooler for longer periods of time.
If you’ve any worries about sleeping cool during the hot summer months, this all-latex mattress is for you as it will keep you comfortable all night.
Latex mattresses are processed in two different ways - Dunlop or Talalay.
Talalay latex is fluffy throughout and typically softer and less dense than Dunlop latex. As a result, Talalay latex mattresses lack the firmness and density to serve as a support core component.
Our latex mattress layers are made using the Dunlop process to give you a more comfortable sleep all night.
Do you know that our latex mattress has a great feature of absorbing pressure and confining it to a very small area? This essentially makes our latex mattresses a great choice for couples. Have a partner who moves a lot during sleep? On a latex bed, you won’t notice or even feel their movement! Your partner or kids could even jump on the opposite side of the bed, and you can continue to sleep peacefully without being disturbed.
Since we ship our latex mattress in 4 different boxes, it’s easy for anyone to carry the boxes to their rooms, unbox and assemble them in a few minutes. This is to ensure you have a great experience, not just during sleep but even before your head hits the pillow. :)
The Turmerry organic and natural mattress assembly process is very simple and will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
The first box contains zippered organic cotton mattress cover plus 2 free pillows. The second box contains a firm latex layer. You can find a medium latex layer on the third box and a soft latex layer on the fourth box.
Here’s how to assemble a Turmerry mattress:
Step 1 - Place the organic cotton zippered cover on the bed frame.
Step 2 - Identify the base layer of your latex mattress.
Step 3 - Insert the next two latex layers, one at a time.
Step 4 - Zip it Up
Step 5 - Make the bed
For detailed mattress assembly instructions, please check our 'Latex Mattress Assembly' guide.
Beginning on the date of purchase, your latex mattress is covered by a 20-year warranty. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser from the original purchase date of the latex mattress and is non-transferable.

Latex is a natural product found beneath the bark of mature rubber trees. The milky white liquid that seeps from the tree is collected and then processed to create latex foam. Latex foam has a number of unique properties that make it ideal for use in mattress construction, including durability, resilience, and a willingness to conform to the contours of the body.
This versatile material is used in a wide variety of products, from gloves and tires to balloons and raincoats. Latex is also a common ingredient in paints, adhesives, and cleaning products. It is prized for its strength and elasticity, as well as its resistance to heat, water, and chemicals.
Technically, there are four different types of latex that are being used in latex mattresses. This includes the natural, organic, synthetic, and blended types. Here's a breakdown of each:
Harvested from organically grown rubber trees (Hevea Brasiliensis), this type of latex is naturally processed to create foam layers. Plus, mattresses made of natural latex feel incredible and represent a great long-term investment. And the best part, natural latex mattresses are generally considered safe and are not treated with toxic chemicals like formaldehyde.
Organic latex is natural latex that comes with an organic seal of approval. Latex mattresses that are organic contains ≥95% organic latex, the highest possible standard. It is the cleanest that you can buy for your health, the fairest for those working in the rubber industry, and the safest for mother earth.
Synthetic latex is the cheapest type of latex and is usually constructed from Styrene-Butadiene Rubber. Mattresses made of synthetic latex involve the use of a variety of synthetic materials that are toxic to human health. Also, they have a much shorter lifespan and durability than the natural and organic ones.
A combination of natural latex and synthetic additives, blended latex mattresses contain 15 to 25 percent natural latex, with the rest being synthetic.
If you think blended latex is the "best of both worlds,” you’re wrong. The material fails to offer any elasticity benefits as it’s combined with such little natural latex. Of course, there's a cost advantage of blended latex when compared to the natural and organic ones, but the material is still not 100% safe.
There are two types of latex mattress manufacturing processes out there - Dunlop and Talalay. Even though the raw material used is the same, that is, rubber, the main difference lies in the way it’s manufactured.
The Dunlop latex mattress manufacturing process begins with the whipping of liquid latex to form a frothy foam. After that, the frothy material is placed on a mold and then baked in a vulcanization oven. Once the vulcanization process is complete, the baked latex is removed from the mold and is followed by thorough washing. Finally, the foam is baked again at a high temperature to remove excess moisture.
The Talalay latex manufacturing process works similar to that of the Dunlop process. But here, there's a small difference; the mold is just partially filled. The lid of the mold is vacuum-sealed, leading to the rapid expansion of latex. Once fully expanded, the mold gets flash frozen, pushing carbon dioxide through the latex. The frozen material is then baked to set, followed by removing the latex from the mold. Finally, latex is washed thoroughly and dried.
Both types have their own unique benefits that appeal to different people, and if you ask us which one's the best, we'd say it's up to your personal preference. Dunlop latex is more dense, durable, and supportive, making it a good choice for people who need a firm mattress. Talalay latex is softer and less dense, making it a good choice for people who want a softer mattress.
However, when compared to the Talalay latex mattress manufacturing process, the Dunlop method is less energy-intensive and is, therefore, more sustainable and has a lower environmental footprint. So, if you want an eco-friendly, organic, supportive, and durable latex mattress at the same time, we'd recommend you go for Dunlop latex.
Yes, you heard it right! Boric acid, arsenic, PBDEs, formaldehyde, antimony, and much more - common mattress materials are so full of toxic chemicals. In fact, as the mattress gets older, toxins are released in much higher amounts and can lead to grave consequences. Unbelievable right? You can get affected with skin reactions, hormonal disorders, asthma, nervous system disorders, and even cancer.
Now you might be coming up with the question, ‘If not a common mattress, then what?’ The answer is simple - ORGANIC LATEX MATTRESS! If you or your family members wish to sleep in a safe and healthy place, then go for it.
In the olden days, mattresses were stuffed using natural materials such as feathers, wool, cotton batting, horsehair, and many more. But now, things have changed, and not exactly for the better. Most of the mattresses available in the marketplace today are made with synthetic latex, conventional cotton, and a mix of polyurethane foams, all of which are unsustainable and unhealthy.
Your mattress should always be your personal sanctuary, a place where you find the utmost comfort and rejuvenation.
Most of you spend a lot on buying mattresses without knowing their full contents. Mattresses go through so many complex manufacturing processes that they get exposed to harmful chemicals.
Did you know that the foams used in polyfoam and memory foam mattresses are often derived from petrochemicals? They are treated with chemical flame retardants like polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) to meet the flammability standards. This particular one is the most harmful among all. Are there health risks associated with PBDEs? Yes. They are linked to thyroid, liver, and neurodevelopmental problems.
Memory foam even contains isocyanates. These compounds may react with hydroxyl groups and produce polyurethane polymers. You may experience itchy nose, throat, eye, skin, and breathing difficulty.
There are even mattress adhesives, the chemicals used to hold together different components and layers of the mattress. Methylene Chloride, Acetone, and n-Propyl bromide are the most common adhesives with hazardous effects on the human body.
Some of the mattresses contain toluene (a potent neurotoxin), TDI, and propylene oxide. They might even contain antimony and boric acid that do not bind well and get released into the air.
We are all a part of mother nature. Everything the humans need to survive and thrive - the food, water, shelter, and even the natural cycle is provided by mother nature itself. But what are we giving back? When you buy a mattress, have you ever thought of the environmental impact that you are making? Many of them contain questionable chemicals known as flame retardants. And, if you don’t know, these toxins may be doing more harm than good when it comes to the world we live in.
Luckily, there is good news! There are better alternatives. You just have to know what exactly to look for. If you want to have a good night's sleep knowing that you are safe from toxic chemicals, all you have to do is purchase organic mattresses.
As one of the country’s most sustainable mattress brands, we use organic latex and 100% natural wool, a completely safe flame retardant. Wool is capable of holding much of its weight in moisture, and it takes more time to catch on fire than other materials used in common mattresses. It is structured in such a way that there is very little oxygen inside, which is needed for a fire to spread.
If your mattress releases toxic chemicals, you are probably breathing in those for hours every night. Most manufacturers out there fail to disclose which chemicals they use. This brings the buyers who want to protect themselves from the harmful effects of the chemicals into a state of confusion. And that is why it is always recommended to use organic latex mattresses.
There are two main types of latex mattresses: all-latex foam and hybrid latex. While both of them are known for their outstanding cooling properties and bounciness, the main difference lies in their construction. All latex foam mattresses are made entirely of latex, while hybrid latex mattresses combine latex with other materials, such as coils or memory foam.
As we said above, an all-foam latex mattress is made entirely from latex foam, as opposed to other types of
mattresses that contain a mix of materials. Latex foam is made from the sap of rubber trees, which is then
whipped into foam and later processed into either Talalay latex or Dunlop latex.
Some all-foam latex
mattresses are made of a single layer, while others come in two or more layers. A multi-layer latex mattress
usually has added advantages over single-layer mattresses. The very first of these is personalized support and
comfort. Different levels of softness and firmness can be interchanged to create the perfect sleeping
experience. For example, say your lifestyle changes for any reason, and you want a different level of firmness,
it is much easier to do this than to replace the entire mattress.
A hybrid latex mattress is a combination of traditional innerspring coils and latex foam. Each coil in a hybrid latex mattress is individually wrapped to offer targeted support and ease your pressure points while you sleep.
With latex hybrid mattresses, you can enjoy the added benefit of edge-to-edge support, pressure point relief, and motion isolation which you don't get from an innerspring mattress. Also, the latex layer in a hybrid mattress offers you that perfect feeling of buoyancy. This prevents the sinking feeling that is common in memory foam mattresses.
There are a variety of mattress materials on the market today, each with its own unique benefits. Latex mattresses are known for their durability and support, while memory foam mattresses offer unbeatable comfort. However, one material that stands out above the rest is latex.
Here's a quick overview of the key differences between natural latex and memory foam mattresses:
Natural latex foam tends to be more responsive, meaning they spring back into shape more quickly when pressure is applied. This can provide a firmer feel and better support for the body. Memory foam mattresses, on the other hand, contour more closely to the body and can provide a softer feel.
Natural latex mattresses tend to sleep cooler due to their more open cell structure, while memory foam mattresses can trap heat and cause sleepers to overheat.
Both natural latex and memory foam are great in providing pressure contours closely to the shape of the body, evenly distributing weight and alleviating pressure points.
Both natural latex foam and memory foam absorbs movement, making it a good choice for people who share their bed with a partner or pet.
Natural latex mattresses are more eco-friendly since they are made from sustainable materials. Memory foam mattresses are made from petroleum-based chemicals, which can be harmful to the environment.
Natural and organic latex mattresses are a bit pricier than memory foam. The best latex mattress may cost somewhere between $800 to $2000. Even though it does cost more, latex mattresses are more durable, long- lasting, and worth the price when compared to memory foam.
Here's a quick overview of the key differences between natural latex and gel memory foam mattresses:
When it comes to feel, latex mattresses are often described as being more springy and firm. They are also known to confirm to the shape of the sleeper's body without sinking in too deeply. On the other hand, gel memory foam mattresses are more sink-in soft.
Many people believe that gel memory foam is the coolest option for sleeping, but latex actually has a number of advantages in this area. Latex is a naturally breathable material, which means that it provides excellent airflow and helps to regulate body temperature. Even though gel memory foam is designed to keep sleepers cooler, its surface can still be too warm. Also, the gel infusion can be less effective over time and create an uncomfortable sleep environment for some.
Both natural latex and gel memory foam excel at providing pressure relief, making them suitable choices for individuals seeking enhanced support due to medical conditions or chronic discomfort.
Both natural latex foam and gel memory foam isolates movement, making it a good choice for couples, pet parents, or families who share the bed with kids.
Natural latex mattresses are made from rubber tree sap, which is why they are often touted for their eco- friendliness. On the other hand, gel memory foam is a petroleum-based product and cannot be considered eco-friendly.
Natural latex mattresses are usually more expensive than gel memory foam mattresses. If price is your primary concern, gel-infused may be the way to go. But if you're looking for an eco-friendly option that will still provide all the features you need in a mattress, natural latex is probably your best bet.

Here's a quick overview of the key differences between natural latex and hybrid mattresses:
Natural latex mattresses tend to be more firm, while hybrids are usually softer.
Both latex mattresses and hybrid ones are known for their ability to regulate temperature. However, all latex mattresses are better at temperature regulation than hybrids with a combination of memory foam. This is because latex is a more breathable material than memory foam.
In terms of pressure relief, natural latex mattresses have the edge over hybrid mattresses. The latex conforms to the body, providing support and reducing pressure points. Additionally, natural latex is extremely durable, so it will retain its shape and provide support for years to come. Hybrid mattresses also provide good support and pressure relief, but the coils can eventually wear down, leading to a decline in comfort over time.
Both latex mattresses and hybrids are good at isolating movement. However, hybrid mattresses with innerspring coils won't absorb motion as well as those with pocketed coils.
Natural latex mattresses are eco-friendly. But, we cannot blindly say that all hybrid mattresses are eco-friendly - it actually requires a bit of understanding about what goes into the hybrid mattress construction.
A hybrid mattress is made up of two parts: an innerspring system and a foam layer. The innerspring system is made up of steel coils that are wrapped in fabric. The coils provide support and bounce, while the fabric helps to reduce noise. The foam layer is usually made of memory foam, latex, or polyfoam. Memory foam is made from petroleum-based chemicals, while latex is derived from rubber trees. Polyfoam is a synthetic material that is made from various chemicals. Some of these chemicals are considered to be harmful to the environment. However, there are also many eco-friendly options available. For example, some brands use recycled steel for their coils and eco-friendly foams for their cushioning layers.
When you purchase a hybrid mattress, be sure to ask about the materials that were used to construct it. This will help you make an informed decision about whether or not it is an eco-friendly option for you.
Natural latex mattresses are usually more expensive than hybrid mattresses.
Here's a quick overview of the key differences between natural latex and innerspring mattresses:
Natural latex mattresses are naturally springy and offer a plush and firm sleeping surface, providing cushioning comfort. On the other hand, innerspring mattresses are on the bouncier side, and the feel of the mattress will be mainly determined by the type of material used in the comfort layers.
Latex and innerspring mattresses are both known as the best cooling mattresses for hot sleepers. This is mainly because of the open cell structure of latex and the coil system in innerspring mattresses.
While natural latex mattresses contour to the shape of your body, providing the much-needed pressure relief in your heavier body parts, innerspring beds fail to offer much contouring or targeted support.
Natural latex mattresses are ideal for people who share their bed with a partner and don't want to be disturbed by their movements. Innerspring mattresses, on the other hand, are not as good at motion isolation as latex mattresses. This is because springs are designed to be responsive and bouncy, which means that they will transfer energy more readily than latex.
As we always say, natural latex mattresses are always a sustainable and eco-friendly choice that can be recycled at the end of their lifespan. However, when it comes to innerspring mattresses, many brands now use recycled steel for the coils, and the rest of the mattress can be recycled or reused as well, depending on the type of material used in the comfort layer.
Natural latex mattresses are comparatively more expensive than innerspring options.
Taking the time to consider these factors will help you find the perfect natural latex mattress for your needs.
First, you will want to consider the type of latex used. There are two main types of latex - Dunlop and Talalay. Dunlop latex is a slightly firmer, more durable, and natural option, while Talalay latex is softer and has a more uniform density.
You'll also want to make sure that you are using a natural and organic latex mattress. This will ensure that you are getting the most benefits from the material.
Natural latex mattresses are available in a range of thicknesses, from 6 inches to 12 inches. The thicker the mattress, the more support it will provide.
This is entirely personal preference, but it's important to choose a mattress that meets your needs. If you sleep on your side, for example, you'll likely want a softer mattress to provide extra cushioning for your hips and shoulders. If you sleep on your back or stomach, however, you may prefer a firmer mattress that provides support and helps to prevent pain in the lower back and spine.
You'll also want to consider the maximum trial period and warranty. A good quality latex mattress should have at least a 15-year warranty. Make sure to read the fine print before making your purchase to make sure you are getting the best deal.
Make sure you choose a mattress size that's comfortable for you and that will fit in your bedroom.
Below, we have created a list of the standard US mattress sizes; by the time you go through this, you will have a better understanding of your preferred style.
A twin mattress is the smallest standard mattress size in the US and measures 38" by 75". This type of mattress is the best option for growing children or young adults.
The average room size of a twin latex mattress is 7 feet by 10 feet. This means twin mattresses are ideal for smaller bedrooms, bunk beds, etc.
A twin XL size mattress is 5 inches longer than the standard twin mattress and measures 38” x 80”. This type of mattress is the best choice for teens, single adults, or taller individuals.
The average room size of a twin xl size latex mattress is 9 feet 6 inches by 10 feet 6 inches. This means twin xl mattresses are ideal for dorm rooms or anyone with limited space.
Also known as a double mattress, a full- size mattress topper measures 54" by 75" and is best suited for single sleepers. It's not always a good option for couples unless they don't mind sleeping curled up all night.
A full-size latex mattress fits into almost any room without making it look crowded. However, the minimum recommended room size of a full-size bed is 9 feet 6 inches by 10 feet 6 inches.
Queen-size mattresses are the most popular mattress sizes in the US market, measuring 60" X 80". They are one of the best options for couples, single parents who share the bed with their child, or single sleepers who prefer a lot of space to sprawl out. These mattresses are also a great option for pet parents who share their beds with furry friends.
The recommended room size of a queen-size latex mattress is 10 feet by 10 feet.
Measuring 76” x 80”, sleeping on a king- size latex mattress is luxury. They are the widest standard mattress size available and are best suited for couples who prefer extra space to sprawl out or for parents who co-sleep with their children.
The recommended room size of a king mattress is 12 feet by 12 feet.
4 inches longer and 4 inches narrower than a king-size mattress, a California king mattress can accommodate two sleepers comfortably and an extra sleeper as well. These mattresses usually measure 72 inches by 84 inches and are a boon for sleepers who are 6 feet or taller.
The minimum recommended room size of a California king latex mattress is 12 feet by 12 feet.

Look for certain certifications when choosing a natural latex mattress. This will ensure that the mattress is made with organic latex and meets strict environmental and social responsibility criteria.
Oeko-Tex is a global standard for environmentally friendly brands, retailers, and manufacturers from the textile and leather industry. It has a list of over one hundred substances, including chemicals and metals. Oeko tex sets limits for the emission of harmful substances such as formaldehyde and other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), which are linked to ozone smog, respiratory illnesses, and memory impairment.
LGA Quality certification is a mark of excellence that assures a product will meet or exceed the longevity claims made by the manufacturer. The certification process is rigorous and involves multiple tests that assess a product's durability, performance, and safety.
Eco-INSTITUT certification is a voluntary, independent certification process that assesses products and materials for their compliance with international standards for VOC emissions. The certification is based on rigorous testing according to strict emission criteria set by eco-INSTITUT. This certification provides reassurance to consumers that a product is safe and environmentally friendly, and it can give manufacturers a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
All of these certifications stand for customer confidence and high product safety. Therefore, when you are buying a mattress, consider the one that has at least one or more of these five certifications. This helps you confirm that the mattress materials are exactly what the manufacturer says they are.
Latex mattresses are the perfect pick for almost all the sleeping positions out there, but they're especially considered a 'match made in heaven' for side sleepers. This is mainly due to the fact that natural latex conforms to the sleeper's body and cushions the pressure points that come with sleeping on your side as opposed to your back or stomach.
But what if you don't sleep on your side? Well, if you prefer to sleep on your back or stomach, there are still options available within the latex mattress category that can provide you with the comfort and support you need.
If you are a side sleeper, never go for a latex mattress with a high firmness level, as this can interfere with the blood flow, resulting in numbness and tingling. You should always choose a softer comfort level in a latex mattress.
If your preferred sleep position is back, a medium-firm latex mattress is the one for you. Anything too soft won't give you enough support, while anything too firm or springy may cause back pain.
For stomach sleepers, a medium to medium-firm latex mattress will be the best fit. This is because such a firmness level can support your body, helps with neutral spinal alignment and eases back and neck pain associated with stomach sleeping.
The amount you should spend on a latex mattress depends on a number of factors, including your budget, sleeping habits, mattress size, and personal preferences. However, as a general rule of thumb, you can expect to pay between $1000 and $3,000 for a high-quality natural and organic latex mattress.
Of course, cheaper mattress options are available, but they tend to be made with blended latex or synthetic latex and will not provide proper support, nor are they durable. You should be wary of lower prices and make sure to check the natural and organic certifications from latex mattress factories.
Just like any other major change in your life, it takes time for your body to adjust to sleeping on a new organic latex mattress. Depending on the person, it can take anywhere from a few nights to a few weeks to get used to sleeping on a latex mattress. Don't expect to be able to jump right on your new mattress and immediately feel comfortable. Instead, take a few days to slowly get used to sleeping on your new mattress.
During the initial adjustment period, it's important to continue using the latex mattress even if it feels too firm. If you find that the mattress is still damn firm after a few weeks, you can try using a latex mattress topper to make it more comfortable.
Mattress foundations play an important role in the overall comfort and support of your sleep system. They usually have two jobs—to support you as you sleep and to ensure that your mattress doesn’t sink, slide, or sag.
In order to get the most out of your mattress, you need to use a foundation that is appropriate for its type. Have a look at the three basic types of mattress foundations.
A solid surface mattress foundation is a versatile and supportive base for most types of mattresses. Made of a series of wood beams, solid foundations are covered in durable material so that there is no gap between them. Because they are easy to assemble and do not require any tools, solid foundations can be used with most bed frames.
Foundations of this type are designed to replace traditional box springs and provide a supportive base for mattresses made of latex, memory foam, and hybrid materials. Measuring 8.5 to 10 inches, a solid surface foundation lifts your mattress to a safe and comfortable height.
A slatted frame is a type of mattress foundation that has a series of solid wood planks or metal beams. These beams attach to the sides of the bed frame. Most types of mattresses can rest on slatted frames, including memory foam, latex, hybrid, or innerspring. Slats can be individual or connected planks, and they typically run horizontally across the frame. The main benefit of a slatted foundation is that it allows for air circulation around the mattress, which helps to keep it cool and prevents moisture buildup.
Slatted bases are a good way to keep your mattress in place. They're easy to install and not very expensive. If one of them breaks, you can replace it easily. Remember that slats don't make the bed higher. They only provide support. If they are not attached correctly, they can slide, leaving the mattress unsupported.
Box springs usually consist of a wooden frame with steel coils inside that provide support and stability. The coils also promote airflow, which helps keep the mattress fresh.
Most box springs today do not contain coils but are simply wood or metal box covered with cloth. They do not offer much in terms of stability or support but can provide a slight lift. Foam and hybrid mattresses should not be used on box springs, as they do not provide a solid surface for the mattress to rest on—some warranties (including ours) actually prohibit their use.
Bunkie boards are a type of low-profile foundation that is typically made from wooden boards. They are designed to provide firm support for a mattress and are often used in place of a box spring foundation.
Bunkie boards are typically smaller than a traditional box spring and are easy to maneuver, making them a good option for people who have difficulty moving heavy furniture. They can also be used on any type of bed frame, including platform beds and slatted foundations.
An adjustable base is a type of foundation for a bed that allows the user to adjust the angle of the mattress. This can be useful for people who have medical conditions that require them to sleep at a particular angle or for those who simply prefer to sleep in a reclined position.

Some stores may sell counterfeits or lower-quality products. To ensure you're getting a latex mattress that meets your needs, it's important to buy from a certified store. Therefore, when you are in the market for a latex mattress, it is important to purchase from a certified store or brand. This will ensure that you are getting a high-quality product that will provide you with years of comfortable sleep.
Also, when you are considering which store to purchase from, it is also important to read reviews and compare prices. This will help you make the best decision for your needs and budget.
There are a lot of factors that go into determining the cost of a latex mattress. The type of latex - Dunlop or Talalay, the layer thickness, and the firmness level all play a part in the price. Also, organic latex mattresses tend to be more expensive than synthetic options. That being said, as a general rule, you can expect to pay between $800 and $2,000 for a high-quality natural and organic latex mattress. Of course, there are always cheaper options available, but they may not provide the same level of comfort and support.
Latex mattresses are known for their durability and long lifespan. In fact, many latex mattresses come with a 20-year warranty. While other types of mattresses start to show signs of wear and tear after just a few years, latex mattresses can last 15-20 years or more. This is due to the high-quality materials used in construction and the unique properties of latex.
Latex is highly resilient, meaning it won't sag or lose its shape over time. It's also naturally less susceptible to dust mites, mold, and mildew. As a result, latex mattresses require less maintenance than other types of mattresses and will continue to provide a comfortable night's sleep for many years to come.
Latex is a natural material that is sourced from rubber trees, and it offers a number of advantages over other types of mattresses. Latex is highly durable, so a latex mattress will usually last longer than traditional mattresses like memory foam, hybrid, or innerspring.
Latex mattresses are also very supportive, thanks to their bouncy nature. This can be helpful for people with back pain, as it prevents them from sinking too deeply into the mattress.
In addition to this, latex is naturally cooling, so it can help to regulate body temperature during the night. As a result, latex mattresses offer a unique combination of support, durability, and comfort, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking out for a new mattress.
Of course, yes - latex mattresses have a clear edge when it comes to health and environmental friendliness. Latex is made from natural rubber, which means it's biodegradable and free of harmful chemicals.
Latex is also naturally antimicrobial, so it's ideal for people with allergies or sensitive skin. In addition, latex is very resilient, so it won't sag over time like memory foam can. And because it's breathable, latex stays cooler than memory foam, making it a more comfortable choice for hot sleepers. All these factors make latex the clear winner when it comes to choosing a healthy and sustainable mattress.
Latex mattresses are often lauded for their comfort and support, but some consumers worry that they may sleep hot. However, latex is actually one of the coolest sleeping materials available, so you don't have to worry about sleeping hot. The open-cell structure of latex allows air to circulate freely, and it doesn't retain body heat the way that other materials do.
All our latex layers are specially engineered with a pinhole design, and this also helps with cooling. This is the most natural way to sleep cool.
A latex hybrid mattress combines the support of coils with the pressure relief of latex foam. The coils are usually pocketed, meaning they're individually wrapped to minimize motion transfer. They also provide excellent airflow, which keeps the mattress cooler than an all-foam model.
Unlike memory foam mattresses, latex does not sag over time and will have a longer lifespan for years to come. Latex is one of the most durable materials on the market, and it's designed to retain its shape for years to come.
