Today's mattress market is filled with many types of soft mattresses. But how do you choose the best one for yourself? Is it just softness that attracts you to a mattress? Or should there be other features besides softness that make a mattress the "best soft mattress"? Well, we're glad you found us! You'll find all the answers you need here!
Turmerry latex mattresses are one of the most supple, plush, and cushioning mattresses you'll find today! We don't just stop there, however. Our mattresses have plenty of other benefits that complement their softness. Come check out what these are!
Natural latex is the core material featured in Turmerry mattresses. For our all-foam mattresses, you can customize their firmness level to "soft." Keep in mind that all-foam mattresses are already the softer construction type. When you choose the "soft" firmness level, you get two soft latex foam layers and a medium-firm one. The medium-firm layer provides much-needed support to your spine, while the soft layers conform to your body's contours and relieve pressure.
For our latex hybrid mattress, you already get a soft comfort layer in the form of Talalay latex. When combined with the strong support of the pocketed coil layer beneath it, you get a medium-firm experience with equal emphasis on comfort and support. No matter which mattress type you choose, you'll have the option of sleeping on a soft surface that gently caresses you throughout the night!
The "best soft mattress" doesn't just contain a soft surface for you to sleep on. You also need adequate support to prevent issues like spinal misalignment. The Dunlop latex in our all-foam mattresses ensures that you get this support. In our hybrid mattress, the pocketed spring coils take care of it. Besides support, our latex mattresses also provide bounce, response, cooling, motion isolation, hypoallergenic properties, durability, and edge support. Every feature you would consider "necessary" in the best soft mattresses, we have it all and more!
You heard that right! There are three unique latex mattress types to choose from. Don't like one? You're bound to love another! Each mattress type is made from certified, high-quality materials, ensuring you get the comfort you desire.
The natural and organic latex mattress is our first all-foam mattress type. It contains three (or four layers) of Dunlop latex. As a fire retardant (and for temperature regulation), we add a layer of GOTS-certified organic wool. All of this is encased in a soft, silky smooth GOTS-certified organic cotton cover.
To get the best softness from this mattress type, we recommend choosing the "soft" option when customizing its firmness. You can also customize its height, and choose from 8, 10, or 12 inches. We recommend 8-10 inches for the average sleeper. When customizing the size of this mattress, choose one that can fit in your bedroom.
The latex hybrid mattress is inherently medium-firm in its firmness. It contains 8 inches of individually wrapped coils as the support core. They excel at providing wonderful support, motion isolation, and noiselessness. For the comfort layer, we use 2 inches of Talalay latex. In the Talalay process, latex becomes lighter and fluffier, providing a soft touch to your body.
If you want to make this mattress softer, you can always add a soft latex mattress topper over it! When customizing it, you can choose from a variety of sizes, including twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, and California king.
The egg crate mattress is our second all-foam mattress type. It follows a similar construction to the natural and organic latex mattress. However, we add an additional 1.4-inch layer of egg-crate latex foam atop it. This makes the mattress surface wavy and gives it a better ability to caress your body. As a result, you experience greater pressure relief and contouring than when using a standard mattress surface.
You can customize its size, height, and firmness. Choose a "soft" or "medium" firmness level for greater comfort. Go for a height of 8-10 inches if you're light or average weight. If you're above 230 pounds, i.e., heavy, then go for 10-12 inches of height. For the size, you can choose from twin, twin XL, full, queen, split queen (for couples), king, split king (for couples), and California king.
