In an effort to protect wildlife and ensure every living thing on Earth has a better future, American Forests has planted more than 60 million trees in forest restoration projects in all 50 states since 1990. Turmerry is committed to donating a tree for every order to American Forests as part of the partnership. For every order, one tree will be planted in large forest landscapes across the United State such as Northern Rockies and Cascades, Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas, fire-damaged areas in California, stripped mineland in West Virginia, and an expanded focus on urban forests as well. Turmerry as a small business has planted over 16,000 trees as part of this partnership.
Turmerry has also partnered with Trees For The Future by planting so far 36,000 trees in Africa. Together, our mission is to end hunger and poverty by training farmers to regenerate their lands. Through their 4-year training program, called the Forest Garden Approach, we are helping farmers plant thousands of trees that protect and bring nutrients back to the soil. This helps farmers grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. Forest Garden farmers gain increases in income and access to food, even in the first year, all while improving the environment.
As a small business, we are proud to plant 52,000 trees in United States and Africa in the last three years.
