Low profile, made organic
Our Low Profile Toddler Pillow is just 2 inches tall, so it keeps your head low. It's GOLS certified organic Dunlop latex, perforated to breathe, in a zippered organic cotton cover. Choose Soft, Medium or Firm.
Important: this pillow should not be used for children under 2 years of age. Take the 1-minute pillow quiz to find the right pillow for you.

Latex has an open-cell structure, and pinholes through the pillow let heat and moisture escape.

Responsive latex springs back with no uneven sinking and no fluffing. With good care, it lasts five years or more.

GOLS certified organic Dunlop latex in a zippered organic cotton cover that's easy to take off.

Here it is next to our classic latex pillow. The drawings are to scale.
Keeps your head close to the mattress. Suits toddlers aged 2 and up, stomach sleepers, and anyone who finds most pillows too high.
For side sleepers who need to fill the space between head and shoulder.
Three firmness levels
All three are the same size and height. They differ in how much they give under your head.
Gentle and cushioning. About 1 lb.
A balance of cushioning and support. About 1.5 lb.
Extra support for people who like a firm pillow. About 2 lb.
What's inside

Latex starts as the milky sap of rubber trees. It's whipped, poured into a mold and baked using the Dunlop method, which makes a dense, supportive, durable foam. We use GOLS certified organic latex, molded into one solid piece.

Soft and breathable. The cotton is grown without toxic pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers, and the zipper lets you take the cover off to spot-clean it.

Care
Pro tip: a washable pillow cover makes care much easier, and keeps spills, dust and allergens off the latex. Shop pillow covers →
Neither the cover nor the latex is machine washable. Take the cover off, dab the spot on each with a sponge, cold water and mild detergent, and let both dry fully before you zip it back up.
Long exposure to direct sunlight, or heat above 85°F, breaks latex down and shortens its life.
Latex can tear if it's pulled hard. Unpack it gently, and ease the pillow in and out of its cover.
Vacuum the surface about once a month, avoid eating and drinking on it, and spot-clean spills right away.
Latex is the white, milky sap harvested from rubber trees. It’s turned into foam and used in pillows, mattresses, mattress toppers, bedding, etc., for its comfort and durability. What makes latex stand out is that it’s a natural, renewable material, especially when it’s certified organic (by GOLS). Rubber trees can be tapped for years without being cut down, which makes latex a more sustainable choice compared to synthetic foams made from petroleum.
The different types of latex are -
When someone says "latex," they're not necessarily talking about the natural stuff from rubber trees. It could be synthetic, blended, or natural – the term alone doesn't tell you much.
If a product is labeled "organic latex" or "natural latex," don't just take their word for it. Ask to see certifications that prove its purity. Companies that use genuine organic/natural latex are usually happy to display their certifications, as they take pride in the quality.
The American Academy of Pediatrics does not recommend pillows for children under 2 years old. For toddlers aged 2 and up, using a pillow is generally considered safe. A thin, low pillow is usually recommended at this stage.
Our latex toddler pillow is made from organic latex, the natural sap of rubber trees, instead of petroleum-based foam. Many regular toddler pillows are memory foam or polyester.
Organic latex is naturally breathable, responsive and supportive, and it holds its shape longer. It's GOLS certified, so the latex is organic and sustainably sourced.
Our latex toddler pillows can last 5+ years with good care. They don’t flatten out and lose shape the way cheaper synthetic pillows do. The natural resilience of latex keeps the pillow comfortable, night after night, without the early sag you get with most regular pillows.
No, don’t put your latex toddler pillow in the washing machine. Soaking it in water or tossing it in a wash cycle can damage the foam and break it down over time.
If it needs cleaning, spot-clean only. Here’s how -
Mix a little mild detergent with warm water. Dip a clean cloth/sponge in the solution, gently blot the stain, and avoid rubbing too hard. Then, use another damp cloth/sponge to wipe away any soap residue. Let the pillow air dry completely, but keep it out of direct sunlight.
To keep it cleaner longer, we recommend using a pillow protector.
Yes. The latex toddler pillow works for different sleep positions. It’s most helpful for back and stomach sleeping, where it outshines pillows that push your head too far forward. Side sleepers can also benefit from it if they prefer a low-profile pillow.
It depends on what you like in a pillow. Shredded latex is made from very small pieces of latex foam, which makes the pillow more adjustable and moldable. You can fluff it, scrunch it, or even remove some fill to get the exact height and feel you want. It’s great if you like a softer, more customizable pillow.
Solid latex, on the other hand, gives you a more consistent shape and feel. It’s bouncier, responsive, and tends to hold its structure better over time – ideal if you like a pillow that stays in place without shifting around.
A Dunlop latex core and a Talalay latex core are made differently and feel different as a result. Dunlop latex is made by whipping natural rubber sap into a froth, pouring it into a mold all at once, and baking it. As it bakes, the heavier particles settle toward the bottom, which gives Dunlop a denser feel. It produces a durable foam that offers strong support, which is why we use it in our pillows.
Talalay latex goes through a few extra steps. After the sap is poured into the mold, it’s partially filled, then vacuum-sealed to evenly distribute the foam. It’s flash-frozen, then baked. This process creates a fluffier latex with soft density that feels more airy and plush.
If you like a denser, more supportive feel, a Dunlop latex pillow is the way to go. If you prefer more cushioning and consistency, a Talalay latex pillow might be more your style.
No. Our latex toddler pillow actually sleeps cool. Latex has an open-cell structure, which means air can move through it more freely than with dense, synthetic foams like memory foam. On top of that, we add small perforations throughout the pillow to further boost airflow. This helps heat and moisture escape instead of getting trapped inside.
The pillow cover matters, too. Ours is made from breathable organic cotton, which doesn’t trap heat like polyester blends often do.
All in all, organic latex is temperature-neutral, which means it doesn’t overheat or feel too cold. It just stays comfortably cool throughout the night, especially compared to memory foam and other conventional pillows that trap body heat.
In a lot of ways, yes. Latex toddler pillows are better at cooling, are more responsive and supportive, and last longer than memory foam.
Memory foam toddler pillows tend to feel stuffy and slow to respond. They also hold onto heat, which can make you feel warmer at night.
Plus, if you go with organic latex, you get a natural, plant-based material instead of a synthetic foam.
For toddlers and for people who sleep on their stomachs, a low-profile pillow is the better choice. A thicker pillow is recommended if you sleep mostly on your side and need extra space to fill the gap between your shoulder and head.
When it's brand new, you might notice a light, vanilla-like scent. That's just the natural smell of latex, and it usually fades within a few days. Airing the pillow out helps it clear faster.
An additional cover is optional, but we recommend adding one, yes. It helps protect your pillow from spills, stains, and everyday wear, keeping it fresher for longer. Go with something breathable, like an organic cotton cover or a bamboo cover, so you don’t lose that cool feel latex is known for.
Nope. The latex toddler pillow doesn’t need any fluffing. It’s a single solid piece of latex foam that holds its shape on its own. No squishing or refluffing needed.
Look for trusted, verified certifications. The big ones are -
If a latex toddler pillow has a mix of these, you’re getting one of the best there is.
