WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
The Adjustable Base A2 is the economical pathway to achieving zero-gravity sleep. Improving upon the Base A1 by adding foot articulation alongside the standard head articulation, it provides a more versatile way to read, meditate, relax, work, sleep, and watch movies. A simple one-touch preset lets you bring the base to a completely flat position or a Zero-G position (NASA-inspired weightless experience). It's that quick and that simple!

The A2 Base's remote is a modern, stylish device in a wireless configuration. Easy to use with just 6 buttons, and usable from anywhere - in and out of the bed.
Elevate the head and/or foot of the base to fine-tune it and find the ideal comfort position. Ease out snoring and acid reflux (GERD); meditate and relieve back pain; read and watch TV while snug in bed.

With the press of a button, gravity brings the bed back to a flat position, facilitating climbing in and out of bed with ease.
Features a one-touch button that raises the head and legs slightly above the heart, mimicking the relaxed Zero Gravity posture astronauts assume in weightlessness.

The motors and mechanisms are positioned in a way that won’t interfere with under-bed storage or support.
The A2 Base is foldable for easy storage, setup, and transportation - an additional convenience feature that isn't found in other adjustable beds on the market.
Maintains the beauty of your bedroom set by fitting almost invisibly between the mattress and the base.
Provides multiple height options so the base can be set to a variety of heights, accommodating unique aesthetics and different levels of underbed storage.

Highly energy-efficient technology that reduces power consumption and minimizes the environmental footprint. When not in use, it consumes less than 1 watt of energy.
If electrical power is lost, the base can be brought to a flat position by pressing the button on the power-down box under the base.

The reliable motors are designed for extremely quiet operation, so you will no longer be disturbed while lounging, reading, or sleeping.
Slow, controlled return to flat powered only by gravity. The head and foot motors are designed to lower the mattress by reacting only with gravity, never pulling downward, which minimizes pinch points.

Hassle-free, industry-leading warranty that covers in-house service for any issues in the first 2 years. For a full 10 years from the commencement date of this warranty, defects in workmanship or materials are covered.
When sleeping with a partner, the king-size base (two twin XL bases together) provides individual control over each sleeper's position, allowing them to choose how they want to position their side of the bed.
Note: The two twin XL bases can also be synced to act as a single king base.

Specifications
Weight Limit (Do Not Exceed): 750 lbs, including mattress & bedding
Net Weight of Bed Base: Twin XL (93 lbs) | Queen (121 lbs) | King (186 lbs)
Note: The king-size adjustable base will be shipped as two twin XL bases. This is done to ensure easier shipping and carrying, compared to sending a non-split king base. You can use the two twin XL bases separately (with a split king mattress) or sync them to form a single king base.
Note: Do not over-tighten. Too much force may cause the leg to spin freely.
Note: Legs are shipped fully assembled. Alternative heights can be achieved by removing leg segments.
Carefully rotate the base over onto its legs.
Important: Two people are required to rotate or move the bed base. Do not drag across the floor. Do not rest the frame on its side; excessive pressure may damage the legs.
Plug the power cord into a surge protector (not included) or power outlet.
Note: A surge protector is recommended.
The original remote that comes in the box is already paired to the adjustable base. No further action is required. If the remote is not paired with the base, follow the steps below.
A Sync Cord is included with King-size bases (two twin XLs). The Sync Cord connects the two motors to a single remote for synchronizing the two bases.
Note: When using synchronized adjustable beds, there may be an interval of up to 1.5 seconds between the movements of each bed.
Note: If the bases become mismatched, returning them to their flat positions will resync the mechanical positions.
This product is not rated to support weights exceeding a total of 750 lbs, including the mattress and bedding. Exceeding this weight limit can damage the adjustable base, cause serious injury, and void the warranty.
The base can structurally support this weight limit, provided the weight is evenly distributed across the adjustable base. The adjustable base is not designed to support or lift this amount only using either the head or the foot sections.
Some people may notice a slight odor when they receive their new adjustable base. This odor is normal and usually dissipates before the product is delivered to you. Sometimes, this odor may still be noticeable and should dissipate after a few weeks.
You can speed up the break-in period by simply spending time in the adjustable bed doing activities such as reading, sleeping, and watching TV. The extra movement will help the adjustable base respond to weight and temperature changes.
To prolong the life of your fabric, protect it from direct sunlight whenever possible. Keep at a minimum of 12 inches (30 cm) away from direct heat sources.
For spot cleaning, wipe the area with a light, damp sponge or vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove particles.
For a deeper cleaning, blot liquid spills with a clean dry cloth. Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with warm water. Do not wet excessively or use abrasive or harsh chemicals. A soft-bristle brush may be used to remove ingrained soil. Avoid scratching by gently brushing. Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with warm water to remove residues.
Dry out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources. If persistent marks remain visible after cleaning, seek professional advice.
The A2 is built as an affordable way to experience Zero Gravity sleep. It has the essentials - head and foot articulation, a one-touch flat preset, and quiet, reliable motors - along with details that make it easier to live with, like a simple wireless remote, gravity release for safe lowering, and backup power-down in case of outages. Unlike most bases, it also folds, so storage and moving are far less of a hassle.
Zero gravity is a preset position that slightly raises your head and legs above the heart, so your body feels weightless. It was inspired by how astronauts are positioned during launch because that angle helps reduce pressure on the spine and distribute weight more evenly.
For sleepers, this position takes stress off the lower back and hips, keeps the spine in a more natural alignment, and helps muscles relax. It also improves circulation by raising the legs above the heart, which can ease swelling and reduce pressure on sensitive joints. If you deal with snoring, acid reflux, or sleep apnea, the head elevation can make breathing easier as well.
Outside of sleep, many people use zero gravity just to relax and watch TV or read a book. The posture helps you stay comfortable for longer without the soreness you’d normally start feeling if you stayed flat on your back.
All of our mattresses work great on the A2 Adjustable Base. Our top recommendations would be the Latex Mattress, the Latex Hybrid Mattress, and the DIY Hybrid Mattress.
Yes. Its slim 4" profile fits seamlessly between your mattress and base. You can also use the included 12" stackable legs for standalone support and underbed storage.
Latex, memory foam, and hybrid mattresses are the best options. Innerspring mattresses with rigid, interconnected coils are not recommended, as they don’t flex well with adjustable movement. Water beds, air mattresses, and extra-thick or ultra-firm mattresses are also not recommended.
The best mattress for an adjustable bed frame is an all-foam mattress. We recommend opting for an all-latex mattress, which is composed entirely of latex foam layers. It's eco-friendly, durable, responsive, supportive, and provides contouring and cushioning - a perfect complement to the flexibility offered by adjustable bed frames.
The A2 Base supports up to 750 lbs, including the mattress and bedding. The weight should be evenly distributed across the base.
Yes, but the setup is simple. The A2 arrives folded for easier handling. Once unboxed, you’ll unfold the frame, screw in the legs (height-adjustable with stackable segments), and attach the mattress retainer bar at the foot. After that, it’s just a matter of plugging in the power supply and inserting batteries into the wireless remote.
Two people are recommended to move and rotate the base into position since it’s heavy and shouldn’t be dragged. Most people have it fully set up and ready to use in under an hour.
An adjustable bed frame can last 10 years or more, depending on how often it’s used and how well it’s maintained.
You can attach your own headboard to the A2 Base using headboard brackets and the included hardware. Footboards, however, are not compatible with this model as they're fitted with a mattress retainer bar at the foot.
The A2 Base has built-in power outage protection. If the electricity goes out, you can press the button on the power-down box located under the base, and it will safely return to a flat position.
Yes, provided that you choose the right fit. Sheets with deep pockets (10" to 14" or more) work best, especially fitted sheets that stretch over the corners. For split king setups, you can even use separate sheets for each side to avoid tugging when adjusting positions.
Not at all. The A2 Base is energy-efficient:
Even nightly use won’t significantly affect your electricity bill, and the low-consumption design makes it a sustainable choice over time.
Seniors often benefit the most from using an adjustable bed base.
Head and foot articulation eases aching joints, provides pressure relief, reduces back pain, maximizes REM sleep, and can improve circulation.
Elevating the head can make reading, watching TV, sleeping, and other activities much more comfortable for those with GERD or snoring issues.
Smooth, silent motors make adjustments effortless, even for those with limited strength.
No. Box springs aren’t designed to flex with an adjustable base. They’re rigid, which can damage the base and reduce mattress performance.
