Four essential components make up the latex hybrid mattress's construction. It is topped with a luxurious, breathable organic cotton cover (non-zippered), which is accompanied by organic wool layers, a fire-retardant. Two inches of plush Talalay latex foam make up the comfort layer, and an 8-inch pocket coil serves as the support core.
The organic cotton outer and inner layers we use in our mattress are soft, smooth, and among the finest available on the market. It doesn't interfere with the mattress's calming and cooling effects; rather, it amplifies them through its own special brand of design.
The two layers of organic New Zealand wool used in our latex hybrid mattress act as a natural flame retardant. This nullifies the need for chemical fire retardants, keeping the mattress entirely environmentally friendly while also preventing it from being involved in fire-hazardous situations.
Wool is a fantastic temperature regulator as well. It will provide you with a cool surface to sleep on during the summer. Similarly, if you need a more cozy and warm surface in the winter, the wool layer comes in handy once more.
Talalay latex is a much more suitable material for comfort layers. Compared to Dunlop latex, they are softer and much more user-responsive. In addition to providing cushioning, the Talalay latex comfort layer precisely conforms to the user's body shape and contours, providing excellent relief for the body's stressed pressure points.
A thickness of 2 inches with a medium firmness level works great for all and is the most preferred for comfort layers. The ILD for this latex layer is 25–29.
The final layer is the Leggett & Platt® pocket coils, which serve as the bed's foundation. They are made of steel, measure 8 inches in total, and are incredibly strong and resilient. Your body will greatly benefit from using this system.
A pocket coil mattress has an easier time conforming to the shape of your body because each spring moves independently. It will deliver individualized comfort and the ideal level of support in all the right places. The breathable spaces around it will also offer a cool surface for you to sleep on.
To keep our environment healthy, we go through the eco-friendly route with our products. And to prove that we are dedicated to this cause, we have obtained certifications from trusted authorities in the industry.
The FSC certification, provided by the Forest Stewardship Council, gives consumers confidence that the product they are purchasing has been sustainably harvested and is not contributing to deforestation. It provides assurance that the forest products purchased are being used in a manner that protects biodiversity, improves soil quality, and reduces carbon emissions.
The principles of FSC certification include: setting clear and long-term goals, using the best available technology, periodically assessing and improving performance, valuing biodiversity and natural resources, engaging local communities, and respecting human rights.
The Global Organic Textile Standard, or GOTS, is a certification that ensures textiles are ethically produced from the ground up. It guarantees that at least 70% of the fibers in a product are organic, meaning they were grown using sustainable methods.
GOTS goes beyond just materials. It also ensures environmentally friendly processing throughout manufacturing, with restrictions on harmful chemicals and proper waste water treatment. Social responsibility is another key aspect of GOTS certification, meaning fair treatment of workers throughout the production process.
If you're looking for a mattress that provides the perfect combination of natural materials and traditional mattress comfort, the Turmerry Latex Hybrid Mattress is your best choice.
The Latex Hybrid Mattress is free from harmful levels of chemicals and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that are often touted as the culprits of off-gassing. The latex we use is obtained from natural rubber trees, eliminating the need for the addition of harmful synthetic substances. Every product of ours is made with the health of our environment and customers in mind. For further assurance, we have obtained certifications from GOTS and FSC for our hybrid beds. We have also amassed certifications from GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard), OEKO-TEX, eco-INSTITUT, and LGA for many of our other products, ensuring you get the eco-conscious sleep you deserve!
The idea that latex sleeps hot is only a myth. The Talalay latex comfort layer that we use has plenty of space for air to circulate through it, preventing it from trapping body heat and making it ideal for hot sleepers. Additionally, the natural wool we use is great at temperature regulation. All this, when paired with the excellent airflow that the coils provide, makes for a mattress that can keep you cool throughout the night and well into the morning.
The Latex Hybrid Mattress is great for when you want a stable surface to sleep on. Our latex foam absorbs a bit of the motion put on it, while the individually wrapped coils absorb the rest of it. These coils are designed to react to specific movements. This means that if there is movement from one end, then it will be isolated before it has a chance to reach the other end. Whether you need to get up in the night or need to switch sleeping positions, the Latex Hybrid Mattress is much less disruptive than traditional spring mattresses.
The biggest advantage of owning a hybrid mattress is that you get to enjoy the best qualities of the two material combinations used. Here, the latex foam is soft, contouring, and comforting to sleep on. The pocketed coils are great at offering a foundation, isolating motion, and personalizing support. These two combined make for a great pairing, upgrading on the standard all-foam or spring mattress types.
Major pressure build-up areas, such as the back, neck, and joints, can be quite bothersome. After a stressful day, all you want to do is just jump into bed and be able to doze off without worrying about encountering discomfort in these areas when you wake up. Our hybrid structure provides more than adequate pressure relief by cushioning your body's contours. The comforting latex foam and the supportive pocket coils both combine to keep you dozing through the night, as well as rejuvenate you by relieving any pent-up stress from pressure points. You'll soon be waking up without any form of discomfort!
Our latex foam, being natural and certified, is a very durable material. When maintained well, it can last up to or more than 10-15 years. The pocket coils we use are also very durable - one of the best that Leggett & Platt® offers. This means that our Latex Hybrid Mattress, with the proper support base, can stand up to many years of use without sagging. We ensure longevity, with a lifespan of at least ten years. You'll get a 10-year warranty starting the moment you get your mattress. Furthermore, we offer a 120-day trial period so that you won't be locked into the purchase if you don't like it.
We understand the importance of a good night's sleep, no matter your sleep position. With our unique hybrid construction, we're confident that this is the right mattress for you! Our Latex Hybrid Mattress is designed to be supportive and responsive, so you feel great no matter what position you sleep in. Whether you like to sleep on your side, back, or stomach, or favor a little variety with combination sleeping, we've got you covered.
Filled with the goodness of natural latex and a specially designed spring system, this hybrid provides a custom level of comfort while reducing pressure on your joints and back. The result? A luxurious sleeping experience that aligns your spine for maximum comfort. Whether you're a pregnant woman, a light or heavy sleeper, large or thin, old or young, the Turmerry Latex Hybrid Mattress is the perfect option!

We offer all the standard US mattress sizes.
The twin-size Latex Hybrid Mattress is 38 inches wide and 75 inches long. Twin is the smallest size in which the mattress comes. It can fit in small rooms and is mostly purchased for toddlers outgrowing their cribs or for guest room use. Single adults who are below 6 feet in height can also use this as their primary bed.
The twin XL Latex Hybrid Mattress is 38 inches wide and 80 inches long. It is 5 inches longer than the regular twin size. Twin XL is a budget mattress suitable for growing teenagers and kids, adults taller than 6 feet, and guest rooms. It can also be used in a split king adjustable bed frame.
The full-size Latex Hybrid Mattress is 54 inches wide and 75 inches long. Single sleepers requiring more space than what a twin mattress can offer, those with children or pets, and couples willing to compromise on leg room or have small bedrooms are all ideal for the full-size mattress.
The queen-size Latex Hybrid Mattress is 60 inches wide and 80 inches long. This is where spaciousness starts, and that too at the lowest price range. The 60 x 80 queen bed is fantastic for couples who require adequate sleeping space and legroom. For single sleepers, the queen size is spacious enough to roll around and not fall off the bed the entire night.
The king-size Latex Hybrid Mattress is 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. You will need a large room to fit this in, but it is worth it if you require more space than a queen-size bed. A king bed is ideal for couples who require a lot of sleeping space. If two individuals want more than adequate sleeping space and want to move around a lot, a king-size bed can easily accommodate that. Plus, it's also suitable for a family with children and pets.
The Cal king Latex Hybrid Mattress is 72 inches wide and 84 inches long. It is perfect for individuals who are very tall (6 ft or more), couples who want a lot of space, and for an entire family with pets. A room measuring 12 feet by 12 feet would be ideal for a Cal king mattress, although a room measuring 12 feet by 14 feet would be even better.
The hybrid latex mattress comes in a box and is easy to assemble. Follow these steps -
It should be ready to use right away, but we suggest waiting for a few hours and letting it expand a bit.
Properly maintaining your natural latex hybrid mattress can extend its durability and enhance its resilience to sagging and the like. Maintaining a hybrid mattress might seem like a chore at first, but trust us, it's easier than it looks, and it'll only bring positive results. Here is how you can clean your hybrid mattress properly and how you can keep it clean afterward -
As you inspect your mattress, you will be able to see a few dust and dirt particles hanging around. The first thing you must do is remove these particles from your mattress. You can do this in two different ways - by using a vacuum or a small handheld brush.
If you're using a vacuum, make sure the pressure of the suction is minimal, and run it over the entire surface. If you're using a brush, simply sweep all the dust off the bed with gentle strokes. For maximum cleanliness, you can also make use of both of the above-mentioned methods at the same time.
If you have unwanted stains on your mattress from a liquid spillage, then you will want to get them out as soon as possible. Spot-cleaning is the optimal and recommended way to achieve this.
To spot-clean our mattress, start by gently blotting the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb excess liquid. Then, dip a sponge or cloth into a mixture of lukewarm water and gentle detergent, avoiding harsh chemicals like bleach. Dab the stained area with the cleaning solution, working from the outside in to prevent spreading. Blot the area again with a damp cloth to rinse, then allow it to air dry completely. Check for residual stains once dry, repeating the process if needed.
Keep your mattress in a well-ventilated area once you're done with spot cleaning. There's still bound to be moisture within the mattress, and closing the routes for it to evaporate will lead to the growth of mold and other unwanted microbes. So, let it air out till it's fully dry. Then you can resume using it. Make sure to keep the mattress away from the sun when you're drying it. Exposure to the sun's rays leads to a degradation in the integrity of the natural latex foam.
Mattress protectors are vital if you're clumsy with liquids around your mattress. A mattress protector fits like a bedsheet and doesn't compromise breathability. Protectors keep your mattress safe by making themselves the first line of defense, and they don't impair any of the mattress's good characteristics.
Airing out your mattress requires you to keep it in an area that has ventilation. The resulting breathability will remove moisture buildup and extend the lifespan of the mattress.
Natural latex doesn't do well when it is kept under the sun. The bounce and response of the foam will significantly decrease, leading to early degradation of this vital comfort layer.
Vacuuming the dust, removing dirt with a brush, and spot cleaning are things that you should practice on a regular basis. If you have a mattress protector, then all you'll need to do is clean that. If any liquid spillage occurs, then you must clean it as soon as possible. Keep the mattress in good health.
Latex is a natural product found beneath the bark of mature rubber trees. The milky white liquid that seeps from the rubber tree is collected and then processed to create either natural Talalay latex foam (softer) or natural Dunlop latex foam (firmer). We use Talalay latex for our Latex Hybrid Mattress.
A latex hybrid mattress features latex as its comfort layer, supported by a spring coil system beneath. The latex foam is usually 2 to 4 inches thick, while the coil system is around 8 to 10 inches thick. Latex hybrids provide the best of two mattress types - all-foam latex mattresses and innerspring mattresses.
No, you should not flip your hybrid mattress. Unlike an all-foam mattress, hybrids have springs beneath them. You are to be sleeping on the comfort layer above these springs, and flipping the mattress means you'll be sleeping on the springs. You can, however, rotate it from head to toe. We recommend rotating our latex hybrid a few times a year, as it helps even out the weight distribution.
Yes, the Latex Hybrid Mattress is great for side sleepers. With the Talalay latex cushioning on top, it gently contours to your shoulders and hips, easing pressure in those areas. The individually wrapped pocket coils underneath add targeted support, keeping your spine aligned while still allowing the right amount of give.
Our Latex Hybrid Mattress can last anywhere between 10 and 20 years with good care. Latex is a very durable material, which makes it more resilient than its competitors. The same goes for the pocketed coils, which are made from high-quality upcycled steel.
Bed frames provide your mattress with extra support and height. The best frames for our Latex Hybrid Mattresses are solid surface frames, metal bed frames, slatted frames, and adjustable bases.
A solid bed frame gives the mattress a flat, continuous surface to sit on. These frames use plywood or tightly fitted boards, so there are no gaps that let a mattress sag. Some models snap together, while others need basic tools to assemble. A solid frame raises the mattress to a comfortable height and provides steady support for hybrids.
Metal platform beds are made of steel and use sturdy slats, crossbars, or a perforated metal deck to support the mattress. They provide strong, even support and allow for good airflow underneath. For hybrid mattresses, metal platform beds are a reliable option. They usually hold more weight than wood frames and, with proper care, can last well over fifteen years - much longer than the average wooden frame with slats, which tends to last around seven to ten years.
Slatted bed frames use evenly spaced wood or metal slats that run horizontally across the frame to support the mattress. Slats can be fixed or flexible, and if one breaks, it’s easy to replace. They’re affordable, easy to install, and a popular choice for many sleepers. Our Latex Hybrid Mattresses pair especially well with slatted frames. Go for one with a slat spacing of ≤3 inches.
Adjustable bases let you raise and lower the head and foot of your mattress, making them a great option for people with medical needs or anyone who prefers a more reclined sleeping position. Although they come at a higher price, adjustable bases can pair well with our latex hybrids. The combination of flexible latex and individually pocketed coils moves smoothly with the base, so you won’t risk damaging the mattress.
Pocket coils are metal coils that have been individually wrapped in fabrics labeled "pocket" or "sleeve." The fabric sleeves are attached by glue or sewing (note: our pocket coils do not use any glues/adhesives). These fabric pockets are there to give each spring room to move however they please. In spring or hybrid mattresses, a number of these coils are used primarily as the support core.
The pocketed springs produce an ideal structure that can support people of various heights and weights. Pocket coils have an easier time conforming to the shape of your body because each spring moves independently. It also greatly reduces pressure in areas such as the back, neck, shoulders, and hips.
Pocket coils are a step up from traditional innerspring coils like Bonnell, offset, or continuous coils. While standard innersprings provide broad, uniform support, pocket coils deliver more targeted, body-contouring support. They also excel at motion isolation and airflow, so you stay cooler through the night without being disturbed by movement on the other side of the bed.
No, we don’t recommend using a traditional box spring with our Latex Hybrid Mattress. Instead, a solid or slatted bed frame is best, as it allows the mattress to deliver its full comfort and support. Box springs don’t provide the consistent support needed for hybrids, and using one can change the feel of the mattress. A strong, even surface will also help your mattress last longer.
A short stint on the floor won't damage your mattress. But we highly recommend not leaving your mattress directly on the floor for long periods of time. Here is why:
If your mattress is constantly on the ground, it won't be able to get the proper airflow it needs to breathe. You may struggle to fall asleep due to the mattress's heat retention. If you cannot use or buy a base and must keep your mattress on the floor, then we recommend leaning it against the wall at least once a week. This will allow it to breathe a little and let you sleep cool.
If you keep your mattress on the floor, you may be encouraging bacteria and even mold to grow on your mattress. The risk is particularly high in humid regions. It is best to let your mattress breathe by installing a slatted foundation or a higher foundation platform. Breathing will enable the release of accumulated moisture, preventing the accompanying microbes from breeding on your mattress.
Floors don’t provide the even, flexible support a mattress needs. Over time, this can change how the mattress feels, reduce comfort, and even shorten its lifespan. A proper base ensures consistent support across the entire surface, preserving the intended feel of your Latex Hybrid.
Hybrids can be one of the best latex mattress options for any type of ache, pain, or pressure point relief. Here’s how they help with specific issues:
Latex cradles your lower back so the lumbar curve isn’t left unsupported. The pocketed coils push back under your hips so you don’t bottom out. Together they keep a neutral spine through the night, which cuts the strain that causes morning stiffness.
Joint pain improves when peak pressure is spread over a larger area. The latex softens contact at the joint; the coils spread weight across more points. That reduces sharp loading on knees, wrists, and ankles and lowers the micro-stress that makes joints ache.
People with widespread pain need a surface that stops constant jolts and micro-awakenings. The responsive latex reduces pressure spikes while the coils stop you from sinking into a “trap” of foam. The net effect is fewer sleep disruptions and less pain amplification from poor rest.
At the shoulder, the latex compresses enough to prevent pressure build-up. At the hip, the coils give added lift so the pelvis stays level with the rib cage. That prevents the twist that causes pain through the spine and into the hips and knees.
Latex foam lowers the peak pressure where your body presses hardest. Pocket coils then redistribute the load so pressure doesn’t just move somewhere else. Compared with heavy memory foam, a good latex + pocket coil hybrid reduces hot spots and keeps pressures more even over time.
Innerspring mattresses were the standard long before latex and memory foam came along. They use a network of interconnected coils, like Bonnell, offset, or continuous coils, that all move together. This design creates plenty of bounce, but it also transfers motion easily and doesn’t give much in the way of targeted support. A thin comfort layer sits on top, which means pressure relief is usually minimal.
Our Latex Hybrid Mattress takes a different approach. Instead of linked coils, it uses pocket coils - each one wrapped individually. This allows them to move independently, contouring to your body instead of pulling the whole surface down with every shift. The result is more personalized support, far better motion isolation, and stronger relief at pressure points.
Then there’s the comfort system. Where innersprings stick to thin padding, our hybrid pairs Talalay latex with those pocket coils. Latex cushions and adapts to your shape, giving you pressure relief and cooling without sagging.
A memory foam mattress is made from polyurethane with added chemicals that give it its "memory" effect, slowly molding to your body and holding that shape. It does contour well, but it also comes with drawbacks: it’s fully synthetic, prone to off-gassing odors, and cheaper versions without CertiPUR-US® certification can raise health concerns. It also tends to trap heat and allow too much sinkage, which can throw off spinal alignment.
The Latex Hybrid Mattress does better by pairing organic Talalay latex with individually wrapped pocket coils for a balance of contouring and support that memory foam can’t match. Latex cushions and adapts instantly (no slow sink), while the coils keep your body lifted and aligned. On top of that, latex is breathable, durable, and eco-friendly - certified safe without the chemical baggage of traditional memory foam.
So while memory foam offers contour, the latex hybrid mattress gives you pressure relief, support, cooling, and sustainability, all in one.
Like any mattress, it may take time for your body to adjust. For some, it’s one night or maybe a few nights; for others, it may take a few weeks. Even if the mattress feels firmer at first, give it time. Your body often needs that break-in period. We recommend trying it for at least two months before deciding. If it still feels too firm, an organic latex mattress topper can add extra comfort. And remember, our 120-day trial gives you the flexibility to return if it’s not the right fit.
Yes. Back sleepers get even spinal support from the pocketed coil base, while the Talalay latex layer cushions the natural curve of the lower back. Stomach sleepers benefit, too, as the responsive latex keeps the chest and hips lifted so the spine stays neutral, unlike softer foams that can cause swayback pain.
Combination sleepers require a bed that's bouncy and responsive to their movements, and hybrids with latex are perfect for that. The pocket coils and latex foam enable the sleeper to switch positions without resistance, while also adapting quickly to any new sleeping position.
Yes. Light sleepers often wake up from motion transfer or noise, which is where the latex hybrid stands out. The pocketed coils move independently instead of being wired together like old-style innersprings, so one partner’s movement doesn’t ripple across the bed. On top of that, Talalay latex is naturally buoyant and responsive, so you don’t get that stuck-in-the-mud feel that can jolt you awake. The result is a quieter, more stable surface that helps light sleepers stay undisturbed through the night.
Yes, but for different reasons. Lightweight sleepers often struggle with mattresses that feel too firm since they don’t sink in enough to activate the comfort layers. With our latex hybrid, the Talalay latex on top is soft and contouring, so even lighter bodies get pressure relief without feeling like they’re lying “on top” of the mattress.
For heavyweight sleepers, the concern flips - too much sinkage and not enough support. Here, the hybrid’s high coil count and durable pocketed springs keep the mattress from sagging under extra weight. At the same time, the thick latex layer spreads body weight evenly, preventing pressure points in areas like the hips and shoulders.
In short, the balance of contouring latex and supportive coils makes the hybrid versatile. It's soft enough to cradle lightweight sleepers yet strong enough to handle heavyweight sleepers comfortably.
