WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
Give your child the healthiest start to a lifetime of great sleep! The Organic Kids Mattress is designed with invigorating comfort in mind. Made from GOLS-certified organic latex, it provides firm yet contouring support to nurture growing bodies. A layer of natural New Zealand wool offers fire resistance and temperature regulation, while a breathable organic cotton cover keeps things soft and cozy. Free from synthetic foams and chemical fire retardants, it's the perfect place for your little dreamer to rest their head. No mystery materials, no harmful levels of chemicals. Just hearty, pure, organic comfort.
A child's growth and journey through life are deeply connected to their sleep quality. And at the heart of great sleep lies the perfect mattress. When selecting a mattress for your child, the choice matters more than you might think, as it impacts both their physical development and mental well-being. That's why organic materials and comfort aren't just features - they're necessary investments in your child's future. Healthy sleep today and every day always outputs a healthy tomorrow forever and evermore.
GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex is at the heart of our kids mattress. It's sustainably harvested from the lush, green rubber trees of Sri Lanka and made to the highest organic quality. We perforate our latex foam with carefully placed holes, which helps with breathability and cooling. In addition, latex offers responsive support, gentle contouring, and long-lasting durability, so your child sleeps soundly, night after night.
Our choice of adding a natural New Zealand wool layer works in two ways - it avoids harmful synthetic fire retardants in the mattress, and it gives your child access to nature's best temperature control. Wool has natural insulating properties. Plus, it can absorb moisture from the surrounding environment. All of these features allow wool to keep kids cool during those hot summer nights and cozy when winter rolls around. It's similar to having a smart temperature system built right into their mattress, and it's all completely natural.
Every mattress comes with a US-made, soft, gentle-to-touch organic cotton cover that lets air flow freely through. And since we know kids can be kids, we added a handy zipper design that makes cleaning a breeze and allows you to adjust the foam layers within. It's practical comfort at its best.
The open-cell structure of latex, combined with perforations, wool, and cotton, ensures maximum airflow, helping prevent overheating and night sweats. No more waking up sweaty or tossing off the blankets!
Designed for kids' beds and bunk beds and made to fit the needs of our budding youth, the Organic Kids Mattress is available in three sizes:
For thickness, we have:
And for firmness, we have:

Children are special and deserve nothing but the best. Every night, their bodies grow, their minds develop, and their immune systems recharge. The wrong mattress can expose them to hidden toxins and disrupt their rest, but the right one nurtures them naturally. An organic mattress provides more than just a cozy place to sleep. It lays the foundation for your child's long-term health and well-being. Because, as a parent, peace of mind begins with knowing they’re sleeping on something as pure as your love for them.

The full-size mattress is 54 inches wide and 75 inches long and comes with 2 free pillows. It is designed for growing children and teenagers (ages 16+) who require more space than the twin size provides.

Use a waterproof mattress cover over your mattress. Once a month, air out the mattress for a few hours. Every few weeks, vacuum the dust, dirt, crumbs, and other particles away from the top of the mattress. Rotate the mattress from head to toe every few months. Flipping it isn't necessary or recommended.
Gently soak up the spilled liquid with a cloth or sponge, spray the affected area with a mixture of white distilled vinegar and water (or lemon juice), sprinkle some baking soda over the mattress, and let it rest in an area with ventilation. After 8 hours, remove the baking soda with a vacuum, check for any odor or stain, and let the mattress dry entirely before putting it back.
Avoid drying the organic latex foam under direct sunlight. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide and other harsh chemicals/detergents. Avoid using the mattress before it is completely dry. Avoid hand washing or machine washing any of the foam layers and the mattress cover. They should not be placed in a dryer, either.
Latex is rubber in its purest form, obtained as a milky white liquid from rubber trees. For mattresses, it is converted into foam through either the Dunlop method, which produces more supportive, denser latex, or the Talalay method, which produces softer, more cushioning latex.
Latex is safe for children to sleep on. It's an organic material obtained from Mother Nature and, when manufactured to the highest standards, is free from the harmful levels of chemicals and the off-gassing of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) often encountered in traditional mattresses (e.g., memory foam mattresses).
Yes. Organic latex foam is naturally hypoallergenic under the right conditions (i.e., maintained with proper care). It provides an inhospitable environment for allergens like dust mites, making it ideal for kids with allergies.
However, if your child has a known latex allergy, then we highly recommend consulting a doctor before purchase. The latex foam in our mattress is encased within a 1-inch thick mattress cover, but we cannot guarantee that their latex allergy won't flare up when sleeping on it. If you're keen on getting a latex bed for a child with latex allergy, then additional layers of bedding, like a mattress protector, a bed sheet, and a comforter, will certainly help.
An all-foam mattress consists of only foam layers encased in a cover. It's known for being plush and more cushioning than mattress types like hybrids and innersprings, which combine a spring coil base layer with foam or fabric.
Innersprings are traditionally firm mattresses and aren't all that great for children. Hybrids are a more modern version of innersprings, balancing the cushioning comfort of foam with the springy support of individually wrapped coils.
Whether an all-foam mattress is better than a hybrid mattress is a decision that depends on what your child prefers. They're both great at what they do, so if your kid likes a mattress that offers more cushioning, we recommend going for an all-foam. And if they like a mattress that provides more support and bounce, a hybrid may be the better choice.
Unlike synthetic mattresses, ours doesn’t off-gas harmful chemicals (also known as VOCs). However, you may initially notice a mild vanilla-like or earthy scent from the latex/wool, which will fade within a few hours to a few days. This scent is non-toxic and a natural byproduct of manufacturing. Most do not notice it, but if your child does, you can simply air out the mattress for it to dissipate quickly.
Absolutely! The mattress has a zippered cover, allowing you to adjust or replace layers as your child grows and their comfort needs change.
Yes, it will. At just 7 inches thick, it's designed to be bunk-bed friendly while still offering excellent support. Do make sure the bunk bed has proper guardrails for safety.
No, organic latex is flexible but not designed to be bent or rolled for long periods. Doing so may damage its structure.
No, the cover is breathable and soft but not waterproof. We highly recommend using an organic waterproof mattress protector to guard against spills and accidents.
Latex is naturally durable and resistant to sagging, but like all materials, it may slightly soften with regular use. Rotating it every few months can help maintain even wear.
No. The perforated latex, breathable wool, and organic cotton cover work together to regulate temperature and wick away moisture, keeping your child's bed cool and comfortable.
Spot-clean immediately with a vinegar-water solution, then sprinkle baking soda to absorb moisture. Avoid soaking the latex, and let the mattress air dry completely before use.
Yes, but it’s generally not necessary, as the wool layer naturally regulates temperature. If using one, keep it on a low setting to protect the integrity of the latex.
No, natural latex retains its shape far better than memory foam. It offers buoyant support without sinking or developing permanent indentations.
A solid or slatted (no more than 3 inches apart) bed frame is ideal. Avoid box springs, as they don't provide the proper support for an all-latex mattress.
Yes, but we recommend choosing the firm option for proper spinal alignment, especially for older kids or heavier sleepers.
While designed for kids, the full-size option can accommodate co-sleeping. You just have to ensure that it’s on a stable frame and that there’s enough space for everyone’s comfort.
