Engineered with cutting-edge technology and ergonomic designs, our adjustable bases are made for those who want their bed to do more than just sit there. Raise your head when you're reading. Lift your feet when they're sore. Find that sweet spot where your back finally stops complaining. And if you prefer something simpler, we also offer two platform beds: a foldable model with adjustable legs and a handcrafted, slatted model made in the USA.
Turmerry bed bases are built with the same approach as our mattresses: support the body well, keep everything else simple. From adjustable bases with quiet motors to platform bases made for long-term use, each base is designed to fit modern sleep needs without extra complexity. We focus on solid construction and reliable materials, along with unique features that improve your rest. Whether you want full adjustability or a minimalist foundation, Turmerry bases are made to be there for you, consistently, year after year.
The Adjustable Base A1 is your entry point into better sleep. Built to the same high-quality standards as the rest of our lineup, the A1 Base features silent drive motors and a wired remote for effortless in-bed adjustments. Its slim profile works seamlessly with your existing bed platform, or you can use the 9-inch solid legs for added height.
The Adjustable Base A2 is the economical pathway to achieving zero-gravity sleep. Improving upon the Base A1 by adding foot articulation alongside the standard head articulation, it provides a more versatile way to read, meditate, relax, work, sleep, and watch movies. A simple one-touch preset lets you bring the base to a completely flat position or a Zero-G position (NASA-inspired weightless experience).
The Adjustable Base A3 takes everything great about the A2 and adds a few smart upgrades. You still get smooth head and foot articulation and quick one-touch presets for Zero-G and flat positions, but now you also have under-bed lighting for late-night convenience and a memory preset to save your favorite position. Economical, functional, and made to make every part of your day (and night) a little more comfortable.
The Adjustable Base A4 adds massaging motors, USB ports, and two extra programmable presets to everything you already get with the A3. You still have smooth head and foot articulation, quick one-touch Zero-G and flat presets, and under-bed lighting, now enhanced with soothing massages in three intensity levels and dual USB ports to keep your devices powered. It’s a new take on luxurious comfort – built into one smart base.
The Platform Base is a minimalistic, budget-friendly bed frame that delivers more than it costs. It features stackable 12-inch legs and a sturdy mesh deck covered in sleek black fabric. Supporting up to 1000 lbs., it eliminates the need for a traditional box spring. The foldable design also makes storage and transport a breeze, while the quick setup means you can have it ready in just minutes.
The Wooden Bed Frame is a clean, minimalist platform base made to last. Crafted in the USA, it’s built entirely from solid wood with no metal parts, combining durability with a simple, timeless look that fits easily into any bedroom. The frame features sturdy Southern Yellow Pine slats and center support for stability, reinforced rails and footboard made from hardwood veneer plywood, and solid maple legs and surfaces for added strength. It’s built to hold up over time without unnecessary bulk, and it assembles easily without tools, so setup is straightforward from the start.
At the end of the day, your bed should help you feel better instead of just looking nice in your room. Whether that means putting your feet up after a long day or finally finding a position that relieves your back pain through the night, Turmerry bases are built to do that job well and keep doing it for years. Choose the base that fits your lifestyle. Set it once, and let your body take it from there!
An adjustable base lets you raise and lower the head and/or foot of your bed so you can sleep, read, watch TV, relax, etc., in a position that feels good for your body. It helps reduce pressure on the body and improves blood circulation.
Most modern mattresses work with adjustable bases, including latex, memory foam, and hybrids. Your mattress needs to be flexible enough to bend without damage. All Turmerry mattresses are adjustable-base compatible.
Yes, you can. The 3- to 4-inch slim profile, along with the zero clearance feature of our adjustable bases, makes it easy for you to place them between your mattress and your existing bed frame. Or, if you'd rather have it as a standalone bed, you can use the included legs.
Each base builds on the features of the previous one:
Zero Gravity raises your head and legs slightly above the heart into a V-shape (torso-thighs at ~120°, knees bent), mimicking the relaxed posture astronauts assume in weightlessness.
It's a NASA-inspired experience that reduces spine pressure by opening the body, improves circulation via elevation (easing leg swelling), relieves back pain through decompression, and relaxes muscles after long days.
Yes. Head elevation keeps your airways open, reducing tissue collapse and promoting nasal breathing. It also uses gravity to prevent stomach acid from refluxing into the esophagus, easing GERD symptoms.
A platform bed base is a low-profile bed frame designed to support a mattress on its own, without the need for a box spring. It uses either a solid surface or evenly spaced slats.
Platform bases are known for their simple setup. They stay where they are, providing sturdy support, and the slatted ones ensure good airflow beneath your mattress.
Memory foam, latex, and hybrid mattresses work well on platform beds. Traditional innerspring mattresses may require a box spring to prevent sagging.
If you want simple, reliable support, our Platform Base and Wooden Bed Frame do the job well. If you want advanced tech with flexibility, our Adjustable Base (A1–A4) is the best choice.
No. Our adjustable bases and platform bases replace the need for a box spring completely.
